Penang Youth Park

姐姐 and 弟弟 were asking and asking to go to a playground, and since we're early for dinner, we stopped by Penang Youth Park for a short playtime. The Youth Park is nice playground for children and there are many families there during the weekend. Since our last visit some time back (seems like years that we had photos), they had added a nice little decorative pond. Luckily we went earlier, as the haze got really bad on Sunday.

By the time we got to Starview restaurant, it was closed to public as they are having a wedding dinner banquet. Ah, we should have called to ask next time. Every place is full, and we were wondering why. Did I just conveniently forgot it's Father's Day weekend since we had celebrated earlier? :) Finally we decided to go to our favourite fish and chips place at Straits Quay. It was also full house, but they have one table left by the door, which we took as we're hungry by now! There is no longer free parking at Straits Quay but have to pay RM1 per entry, even though first hour is still free.

Hm, why is 爸爸 getting two Father's Day celebration? :P He ordered Father's Day set meal. Everything is delicious! 姐姐 and I ordered fish and chips and I had seafood chowder (appetizer size) to share. Yum, delicious! Especially the dessert with vanilla ice-cream and apple pie, so pretty but the children finished in minutes. End up his Father's Day set is shared with the children :)
