Rope bridge

姐姐 say Teacher Queenie ask them to go walk on a rope bridge (initially I wrote hanging bridge, but 姐姐 say is rope bridge). I think teacher meant like the ones in Penang National Park or something, but I don't think the children can take the heat of the weather now. So something near to home... the little bridge at EQ Hotel :)

So difficult to get them to pose together nicely for photo :P

Run back to us already.... they say scared of this bridge moving.

Her first graduation photo

姐姐 is graduating soon from kindy :) This is her graduation photo. She is the 3rd girl from left for class photo.

Mid-Autumn Festival celebration

We have a simple Mid-Autumn Festival celebration at home as it is a weekday and 姐姐 just came back from ballet.

Reuse last year's lanterns. 姐姐 was asking for Disney Princess lantern and we didn't have time to get one. 爸爸 remembered wrongly that she had a princess lantern from last year and she was sulking all the way in the car when I told her we don't have a princess lantern.

Confucius Birthday

八月初二十七 is Confucius Birthday. We happen to drop by at this temple for 拜拜. The guy at the counter asked 爸爸 if he wants to have the prayers done for the children. Seems like is asking for academics excellence and for well-being at school. Ok la, we just follow.

Update on physical development

Last month both 姐姐 and 弟弟 went to see doctor. Their height and weight:

姐姐
Height: 114.5cm
Weight: 18.5kg

弟弟
Height: 97.5cm
Weight: 14.5kg

Just hope they grow up healthy, happy and strong :)

Cartoon and piggy mooncakes

This year's cartoon and piggy mooncake for the mid-autumn festival. Children finished one pack each time. The red ribbon piggy tasted funny - we think is coffee filling - so 爸爸 and I have to finish up. Orange riboon piggy is lotus paste with yoke. Green ribbon piggy is pandan flavour with yoke.

Alien - coconut (we do not allow the children to take as they cough after having this last time)
Mickey - pandan flavour
Strawberry - red bean flavour
Doraemon - durian flavour


The second pack of 3 little piggies have slightly different flavour. The pink one is pandan, green is coconut, orange is red bean.

Shopping

Went indoors shopping again in this unpredictable weather and month. I'm guilty of using phone to entertain them and snap photos while waiting for breakfast.


弟弟 didn't want to have his photo taken so gave me a funny face. See 姐姐 in the background looking bored...


I've finished my milk
