Dinner

First time for quite some time that any of the children went out without us. 姐姐 went with 婆婆 to wedding dinner with 姨婆 and 舅公. She was sulking during lunch time when 婆婆 visited and she invited 姐姐 to join.

Came back with these sweets and a bunch of 3 roses. Just manage to get a photo of the sweets.

All the time she is not at home, 弟弟 played at home by himself and was asking "姐姐去那里了？“ I asked him why he keep asking but he can't really articulate well. Finally I asked him "你 miss 姐姐是吗?". He said "是". Told 姐姐 about 弟弟 miss her. But she still say " 我不 miss弟弟, 我不喜欢跟他玩”. But she enjoyed the dinner and going out. Otherwise she'd be staying at home with us as 弟弟 is coughing.

Wedding dinner

姐姐 accompany me to friend's wedding dinner. The band, Starz Band from Starz Music Academy, is elegant and classy. They play violin, saxaphone, keyboard, singers. 姐姐 is quite intruiged with the violin playing. She loves the songs "Over The Rainbow" and "Canon in D", both are solos performed by the voilinist. I think she's quite surprised to hear "Over The Rainbow", as it's one of the children's lullaby songs. As for Canon in D, I play it a few times (simple version) so she heard it before. She wasn't so much into the saxophone playing, I think the saxophone player is pretty good too, but maybe she doesn't know how to appreciate adult music yet. If anyone is having wedding and looking for music/entertainment, I'd recommend the band.

She was quite good (albeit a little cheeky and playful since 爸爸 is not around) during dinner, I manage to feed her some food. But she was squeezing in and out of her chair, and playing with balloons. She even tried to go under the table but luckily I manage to stop her. She didn't touch the orange soda drink, instead had warm water as she still have a bit of cough. Good girl overall! Her favorite dish is the dessert, honey dew sago with longan. 哈哈! It's only slightly chilled but didn't see any ice, so she get to have it. She thought about 弟弟 and bring back 2 balloons and 2 cakes (in the little boxes) to share.

Towards the end of the wedding dinner, the band played the song 姐姐 danced to during her concert "Sha La La". It's arranged more rock-and-roll, so she said it's not the same song :)

Wedding dinner

Both children accompanied us to 爸爸's friend wedding dinner at a school hall. It's been quite a while since we hv attended wedding dinner together. The couple hired a good decorator and turned the place to look very dreamy. 弟弟 enjoyed the meats very much but 姐姐 as usual stick to her mushroom/veggie preference. The children were very restless before dinner is served, and were asking to 'go outside - 去外面' or go toilet every 15 minutes.

They enjoyed picking up the confetti and throwing them in the air as dinner ends.
