姐姐's new treasure box

爸爸's friend gave him a 满月 gift with 黄姜饭 and curry. I love the box very much and got it as my new treasure box. Now my drawings and knick-knacks go into the box.

Ballet pre-primary exam registration

Today Ms Tiffany called all the parents to the studio after class to announce that the children are ready for their first ever ballet exam. Didn't she just started June 2009? Time flies with children growing up.

So we need to pay exam fees before May 3rd to register. 姐姐 need to have a CD to help them practise the exercises. Or was it VCD as how they can visualize the exercises with a CD? I think at this tender age it's just like a recital. We'll see. I can't help much as I did not have any experience for ballet, so just ask the other moms at the ballet school and go with the flow.

For memory sake, here is the notification memo and the exam fee structure for 2010 :P I wonder need to buy any accessories... will update when I got to know about it.

Solfege practice

This is how the children practise solfege with teacher. The session is to train their listening skill so that they can recognize the 8 notes and the chords that was taught by ear. 姐姐 is the girl in blue Strawberry Shortcake t-shirt and jeans. Next to her is En Qi, Shu Ping (both in pink dresses) and girl in pink capri and t-shirt is Jean. The boy in front is Zhi Jie.

Mental note: need to practise more solfege and listening to chord with her as she is still not so sure.
