弟弟 is having fever

弟弟 is having fever the whole week. We're worried why the fever is not going away. He is having cough and sore throat too. He sounds like a little goosling whenever he talks because of 声音沙哑。 He vomits whenever he coughs and probably one of the causes is the phelgm. His usual doctor suggested to have him checked at the hospital if still not well on next Monday :(

He seemed better on Wednesday and started getting cheeky while resting at home. So he is back to school on Thursday. Teacher was very kind to him and helped to give the medicine. He only throw up a little bit yesterday nite and not even in school. Today teacher called to say he better rest at home as he throw up twice in school, started running fever and is very moody. Poor boy....

Wesak Day

This year we are really devoted to 拜拜. During Wesak Day weekend, 妈妈 bring us to Reclining Buddha Temple (or Sleeping Buddha Temple) and Penang Dhammikarama Temple to pray for our family's health and well-being. It's our second time visiting these two temples. As usual, we light lotus-flower shaped candles and say our prayers.

Mother's Day

This is back-dated post...
I was procrastinating to write about Mother's Day as I didn't have a chance to capture photo of the gifts the children prepared. When I reached the nursery to pick up the children, 姐姐 gave me a basket with heart-shaped chocolate candy and sweets. 弟弟 gave me a pink paper flower.

Well, both children were excited about the gifts, and started to grab the basket or the flower already in the car. Some how, when we are home, the flower got a bit wet while I was washing up for 弟弟. After dinner, everyone ate up some of the chocolate candy. In the chaos, totally forgot about getting a photo :P The children sing Mother's Day song for me too, it's pretty cute. Goes... "See her eyes, See her nose....."

姐姐's drawings

姐姐 has been getting better at her artwork too. More defined colors and more imagination.

Here is how she draw 弟弟, herself and I going 街街 together. On the right side is an ice-cream machine and ice-cream.

These are her drawing of fruits. I helped her draw the outlines of grapes, strawberry, mango and watermelon. She drew the orange, lemon and apple by herself. She colored the fruits and put the leaves.

She wants to use this car (or truck as she puts it) to bring us for outing. It's in 'rainbow color' :)

弟弟's drawings

弟弟 had been doodling more since going to school. This is how he draw balloons.

This is how he draws fish. Not very sure did he really did this or 姐姐 helped.

He drew flowers for me the other day, but couldn't find it among his work.
