Now is my turn to share the favorite part of my weekend. Since it is Valentine's, I take 姐姐 去街街. 姐姐 enjoy riding on a bike and car with me.

Here I am trying to look like princess but 弟弟 is still walking around and checking out the decorations. Luckily we manage to stop him before he pulls anything out.

Valentine's Weekend - Part 1

姐姐 came back from school with a Valentine for us. She wrote the greeting by herself - of course with help from teacher. She is so happy about the gift, that she can't wait to show off to 公公and 婆婆. 弟弟 was a bit down as he didn't have one, but we assured him he'll have arts and craft of his own when he goes to school.

Fireworks

We went to see fireworks on 初十五. It's the first time both 弟弟 and I see fireworks at such a near range. Usually we just look out from our windows or balcony. I feel a bit scared of the closeness and hugged 妈妈 tightly, but 弟弟 enjoyed very much.

Plants

I helped in this year's decoration for the plants and house. Here's the latest family photo taken together with our plants.

Notice my new dress? It's actually 妈妈's dress when she is small. 婆婆 kept it until now for me. Hehehe..... 妈妈 say I look prettier in the dress than her last time.

Last year, we also had similar new flowers but they didn't survive after Chinese New Year. Hope this year's plant will make it through to Valentine's Day for 妈妈. 爸爸 changed his method of planting, he transferred to bigger pot immediately when we get the flowers. Only time will tell if this is going to help.

Dragon Dance puppet

Here's a backdated post about my art-and-craft project in school. 妈妈 only manage to snap a photo of me with it today, that's why it's posted late.

This year for CNY, I made a dragon dance puppet - with help from teacher of course! I colored the dragon head by myself, and teacher helped to do the rest. Some of the other children's dragon head had whiskers. I didn't like that style....

弟弟 and I were playing with it during CNY. I hold its head, and 弟弟 hold its tail. Haha... quite fun.

Chinese New Year

This year is a little special for us children because 爸爸 and 妈妈 bring us to 極樂寺 for our annual 拜拜. These couple of years, 爸爸 and 妈妈 will bring us to temple to pray for our health, well-being, safety, happiness...... and the list goes on. We lighted a candle for our 合家. There were many people visiting, traffic jam all the way up and down the hill. But it was worth it, because the lights are amazing. 妈妈 took the photo with the pagoda and lights, she thinks it looks very artistically interpreted.

I'm taking photos with these lovely flowers because 爸爸 and 妈妈 say I am dressed in yellow like them..

Since it's getting late and we're all tired... we did not take the new tram up to the 观音statue. 爸爸 say, let's save it for next trip. 弟弟 is also getting tired and cranky, he's not as good at posing for photos like me so we get less photos with him.
